What started as two brick and mortar boutiques has expanded to an online presence.
Opening cityblue apparel & denim in 2009, I wished to bring NY eclectic and savvy to an east cost breeziness. The store saw two successful years before I sought to bring my favorite high end pieces to my hometown of Lake Forest, IL with “CB”. CB, the initial’s of my company’s name aims to bring a high fashion sensibility to the North Shore without having to travel into the city limits.
Noticing the increased traffic from out-of-towners and personal shopping clients, I expanded our website and launched shopcityblue.com in April of 2012 under the eye of Mary Zinni. Our website is the cultivation of both stores pieces, ranging from everyday loungewear to high-end designers. Without sacrificing our style or edge, we carefully curate every piece brought to you online, with styling tips and thoughtfulness we bring to all of our customers in store.
Furthermore, with the launch of “The Handbook”, edited by Sarah Saddemi, we wish to bring even more of our styling savvy to you at home. The result of all is a one-stop for everything our customer’s love from our stores that we wish to brighten the closest’s of our favorite non-local and local customers.
